Double page spread skills development journal

Firstly to ensure that the double page looked right I used the line tool to create a line down the centre of the a3 page.
Next I added my main image which was choosen to take up both pages.
I then added a smaller band image which used the same technique of that shown on my front cover with the pink background and using the free transform tool and locking the layers together as shown below:
Because the image didnt look right going over top of Neils arm "main image" I used the magic wand tool to go round his arm, then copy and pasting it back in and putting the layer overtop of the smaller image making it seem as if it were behind.
After all imagery was on I then used the textbox tool and created my articles, with the text box tall I rendered all text to the left and picked an easily readable font. I also used the color pipet tool to select the exact color taken from the front cover.
This heading was created using Dafont and then using the photoshop color changing tool to change it to an appopriate color for my magazine.
This is the finished result.
