How are women represented in 50 cent candyshop?

How women are represented in Candy shop 50 cent.

Women are represented as an item “candy” and are made out to be inferior to men at the start. The film starts by being degrading to women for example the way in which they dress and are forced to do stuff. But then later on we get a different view of women which is that they actually want to be treated like this and that its normal.

All the women in the movie are shown as the “model” woman which have no imperfections, which in real life is not a true perception of women.

The genre of music that the song falls into has a convention of these sort of style of clips within it. Where men are represented as a type of “pimp” and can get any woman they want.

The way in which the women are dressed and how they talk shows that they are portrayed as being eye candy.

Women are also being portrayed as being “gold diggers” as the lyrics “ I’ll have you spending all you got” suggests that all the women are after is money, this is also show as the male has a flash car and a big mansion.

The main thing about women in the film is that they are portrayed as being slim, big boobed with clear skin and perfect features,
